The Young African Women Congress (YAWC) Network Council has appointed Eunice Emmanuel (Mrs) as the President of the Network’s National Chapter for Nigeria. She takes over from Mary Ogundimu who has been the President of the pan-African women’s network for the country’s Chapter since the last four years.
Mrs Emmanuel is a serial Entrepreneur. She is the Managing Director of Gaftex Consult Ltd, a Real Estate Consultancy Firm in Nigeria. She is also the founder of Gaftex Capital Investment Limited, Gaftex plus Business Solution Limited and Gaftex Farms Limited. Professionally, she is a Sales expert with several years of excellent delivery & experience in the I n s u r a n c e & R e a l E s t a t e industry. Additionally, she is a Media Personality in training, focusing on media as a frontier for real estate industry in Nigeria.
Her passion to see women succeed in the real estate industry drove her to set up the Women in Real Estate Empowerment Initiatives, an initiative aimed at recruiting, training and empowering women to build Career in Real Estate. She founded the Farm Transport & Logistics Company Ltd to add value to farming system by providing sustainable haulage and
logistics system & extension services to local Farmers. She is a professional tourist and a Minister of the Gospel. She has authored many books including Lockdown to Build Up (success formula for young entrepreneurs to survive in uncertainties), REAL (a complete real woman’s guide to living a life of influence, significance and prosperity through Real Estate Business), Agriculture The new Gold, Financial Literacy Education, Become a Real Estate Billionaire through Affiliate Marketing, among others.
She is a graduate from the Ondo State University.
Being a member of the YAWC Network since 2018 and having risen to the highest leadership position at the National Chapter level, Eunice is expected to bring her rich experience in leadership to the fore as she will lead the mobilisation of Nigerian women for empowerment.
In the same vein, Alabere lbinyefagha Renner has been appointed as the Vice President for the Nigeria Chapter of the YAWC Network.
Ms Renner works with the Local Government Commission of River State Government as Procurement Officer. She is a member of Young Woman Christian Association (YWCA) and National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) in Nigeria. She has a BSc and PDG in Banking and Finance. She has been a member of the YAWC Network since 2019.
The Young African Women Congress (YAWC) Network is a fraternity of young women of African descent living in Africa and the diaspora who seek to be empowered and be themselves, change makers for leadership and development on the continent. Membership of the Network is segmented by Chapters based on country demarcations.
