YOUNG AFRICAN WOMEN LEADING CHANGE.

After being inspired and empowered at the Young African Women Congress (YAWC) 2018, Felicia Jacinta Ayambire who lives in the Oti Region of Ghana launched a “Back To School Project” in the Biakoye District. The main purpose of the project is get teenage mothers who dropped out of school as a result of their pregnancies back to the classroom.

With the assistance from some trained Teachers who volunteered to help the girls through a few months preparatory tutelage, Felicia has been able to enroll three of the girls in a girls Senior High School whiles two others have enrolled in Junior High School in the Biakoye District.
She currently funds her project from her own salary and from some benevolent friends of hers.

Young African Women Congress (YAWC) indeed empowers women for continental development and integrates them for a better world.
