The YAWC NETWORK UGANDA CHAPTER on the 27th of February, 2021 paid a visit to East Kololo Primary School in Kampala.

The Network was represented by the Chapter President Ms Linda Atim, and the Media Liaison Officer Ms Ayerango Stella.

During this visit, the primary school pupils were offered mentorship and career guidance in preparation for their fourth coming examinations.

The pupils in company of their head teacher and teaching staff, were also presented with items like pads, scholastic materials and food stuff among others. The joy and gratitude written on the faces of the pupils and their teachers was a humbling pleasure.

After the school visit, the President and Media Liaison Officer, proceeded to Crown TV studios for a show, where a comprehensive and impressive session was carried out on the topic:Remaining Grounded in Achieving your Purpose. This TV show is organized by Crown TV and the YAWC NETWORK UGANDA CHAPTER every last Saturday of the month, and can be followed live on the Crown TV Facebook page.

The aim of these two events is rooted in one of the main YAWC Network objectives of empowering young women to become better leaders.

Many thanks to all the Chapter members and the Alumni of East kololo primary school who contributed towards this cause and to make this day the great success that it was.

A special thanks to the Chapter president for taking time off her busy schedule, and for the mobilization.
