I bring you greetings from YAWC Network Global Office. I trust that you are keeping well and safe.

As we approach the end of the year 2020, we want to thank you for journeying with us.  As YAWC Network, we continue to stay true to our objectives as we grow even stronger and stay active.

I challenge you to leave your comfort zone and continue to adopt new mindsets, embrace change and have the courage to move forward as we create a better tomorrow.

We need to stand strong in unity to end all forms of abuse, mobilizing and giving hope to our communities and by extension to our continent.

As the YAWC Network embarks on a 16 days of active campaign against gender-based violence in conformity with the UN Women’s agenda, we call on all partners to come on board as we push vigorously to end every form of violence against women and girls.

As Ghana goes to the polls to elect their next president and members of parliament, I appeal to the citizens to exercise their franchise peacefully and resolve to do everything within their powers to ensure a violence free election.

As a Pro-Women Network, we stand for peace and therefore wish the country a free, fair and peaceful elections.

We appreciate and value your journey with us throughout the year. We pray that the Lord would see us through the coming year and be good to us.

We are hopeful that the year 2021 will present us with greater opportunities among which we will get the chance to converge at our annual convocation of the Young African Women Congress to network, share, learn and encourage one another as we exhibit our full potentials.

Happy new month and Merry Christmas to you all.

Signed
Jacqueline Nyapendi
