The Elections Committee of the Young African Women Congress (YAWC) Network has declared the winners of the just ended Global Elections that sought to elect the Global President and the Global Vice President of the Network. This was contained in a statement signed by the Chairperson of the Elections Committee, Dr Wirba Stephanie Kininla.

Dear Members of the YAWC Network,
Greetings to you all.
On behalf of the YAWC Network Elections Committee, I would like to inform you that the winner for the position of the Global President is Ms Jacqueline Nyapendi from Uganda Chapter.
For the position of the Global Vice President, the winner is Ms Ruth Jemutai Rop, Esq., from Kenya Chapter.
Details on Handing Over and Swearing-in ceremony shall be communicated shortly.
